Welcome to the New HLL Website

A HOME OF OUR OWN: CELEBRATING THE NEXT GENERATION OF HAUDENOSAUNEE LACROSSE

A new digital home for Haudenosaunee junior box lacrosse is here, dedicated to celebrating our players, honouring our alumni, and sharing their accomplishments with the world.

For the first time, Haudenosaunee teams competing in International Indoor Junior Lacrosse (IIJL) championships have a dedicated home to call their own.

Welcome to HLL.

For years, young Haudenosaunee men have proudly represented their Nation on the international stage, competing against some of the best junior box lacrosse players in the world. They've delivered unforgettable performances, represented their communities with pride, and carried forward a game deeply rooted in Haudenosaunee identity, history, and culture.

Yet too often, their stories, achievements, and contributions have gone without the recognition and lasting documentation they deserve.

That changes here.

BUILDING SOMETHING THAT LASTS

The idea of establishing a dedicated home for Haudenosaunee junior lacrosse has been explored before. While previous efforts were short-lived, the vision never disappeared.

Now, with the support and commercial infrastructure of Canadian Lacrosse Marketing (CLM), HLL is being established with a long-term commitment to preserving the past, celebrating the present, and supporting the future of Haudenosaunee lacrosse.

This isn't simply another website.

It's a commitment to ensuring the young men who wear a Haudenosaunee jersey have a place where their accomplishments are recognized, their stories are told, and their contributions are remembered long after the final whistle.

CELEBRATING OUR PLAYERS AND ALUMNI

Every player who represents the Haudenosaunee at an IIJL championship becomes part of a story much bigger than any single tournament.

HLL will celebrate those players, from their first appearance on the international stage to wherever the game takes them next.

That includes following our Alumni as they continue their playing careers, pursue opportunities in the National Lacrosse League (NLL), hear their names called at the NLL Entry Draft, or achieve success on and off the floor.

The accomplishments of Haudenosaunee players deserve to be documented and celebrated with the same attention afforded to athletes representing any other nation.

For too long, those achievements have been scattered across tournament websites, social media accounts, and individual team announcements, making it difficult for fans, families, and future generations to follow the journeys of these athletes.

HLL intends to change that by bringing those stories together in one permanent home.

HELP US RECOGNIZE FIVE PLAYERS

Building a complete history of Haudenosaunee junior international lacrosse is a community effort, and we need your help.

We are currently looking to identify five former players who represented the Haudenosaunee/Iroquois in IIJL competition.

Do you recognize them? Were you a teammate, coach, family member, or friend?

Every name, photograph, and story helps us build a more complete record of the athletes who have proudly represented the Haudenosaunee.

YOUR HOME FOR HAUDENOSAUNEE LACROSSE

Moving forward, HLL will serve as a central destination for everything surrounding Haudenosaunee participation in IIJL international championships.

Fans, families, players, and supporters will be able to find game schedules, results, video highlights, game recaps, roster announcements, player features, alumni updates, and important team news, all in one place.

More importantly, this will be a place where those moments don't simply disappear when a tournament ends.

They become part of our history.

WANT TO REPRESENT THE HAUDENOSAUNEE?

For young players who dream of representing the Haudenosaunee on the international stage, HLL will also provide a direct way to express their interest in future opportunities.

Whether you're preparing for your first international competition or hoping to return to the roster, we want to hear from you.

THE ROAD TO THE 2027 WORLD JUNIORS

Our next chapter begins with the 2027 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship, where the next generation of Haudenosaunee players will have the opportunity to proudly represent their Nation against international competition.

In the months ahead, HLL will share news, announcements, and updates as preparations for the championship take shape.

We invite players, alumni, families, and supporters to follow along and help us build something that will serve future generations.

OUR PLAYERS. OUR STORIES. OUR HISTORY.
